Vida Charter School Rights and Responsibilities

Students are expected to:

-Attend school daily,

-Arrive to school on time,

-Strive to do your best,

-Be prepared,

-Accept responsibility for your behavior and actions.

 

Parents are expected to:

-Promote high expectations for your child’s behavior, school achievement, and homework,

- Establish and maintain open lines of communications between home and school,

- Ensure that your child gets plenty of sleep, a good breakfast, and is dressed appropriately,

- Participate in school activities including parent-teacher conferences,

-Regularly discuss school work with your child and help them connect it to their lives,

-Assist your child in being responsible for their behavior and actions,

-Ensure that you child arrives to school on time.

-Provide a safe and nurturing learning environment,

-Establish and maintain open lines of communication between school and home,

-Promote high expectations for students’ behavior and academic achievement,

-Provide opportunities for every student to be successful,

-Promote students’ responsibility for behavior and actions.
